Program:

2.30 pm. – Preperation for the parade

3 pm. – Arrangement of participants in a parade

3.20 pm. – Start of parade on Nytorv

4 pm. – End of parade at Slotspladsen

After this, the program for the opening will follow.

Information: 

The parade starts at Nytorv and goes through Aalborg's pedestrian streets, see the map. All countries are divided into starting groups, which will be published on this page as soon as possible. These are made visible on Nytorv with signs with the names of the nations, which must also be carried in the parade.

Startingaddress: Nytorv, 9000 Aalborg.

Finishing address: Slotspladsen, 9000 Aalborg.

 

The nation with most participants registered will walk in the front of the march. All nations will be devided into start groups (1-6). 

When you arrive at Nytorv, where the march will begin, you have to find your start group. By each start group there will be a guide in a yellow vest with a sign telling the name of the nation.

  6. Spain - Estonia - Turkey - Austria - Réunion - Portugal - Japan - Peru - Singapore - Switzerland - Ghana - Iceland - Luxembourg - Qatar - Taiwan - Virgin Islands

Registration:  

There is no requirement to register for the parade.

Rules and regulations: 

This occasion is not a competition, but a way to bring all participants together and make the World Firefighters Games 2024 a festive event. There are no special rules, but the host will be judging each nation based on originality, the audience reaction and creativity. They will choose the best countries, who will be honored at the welcoming dinner.

Denmark is host country and is therefore exempted the assessment.
