Program:

• 10:00: Preliminary rounds starts
• 14:00: The finals starts
• Horseshoe toss – the winner of each pool advances to win-or-lose matches. Here we will probably make an overview which will look like the following:
• The 8 best pool winners - bet on points score smoke in the quarter-finals. That means there is a pool winner who does not progress to the quarter-finals.
• The quarter-finals are played immediately after the last pool match. This means starting from 14.40
• Pool Winner pool 1a – pool winner 1b  the winner smokes in semi-final 1
• Pool winner 1c - pool winner 1d  - the winner smokes in semi-final 2
• Pool winner 1e – pool winner 1f  - the winner smokes in semi-final 1
• Pool winner 1g – pool winner 1h - The winner smokes in semi-final 2
• All quarter-finals are played at the same time on lane 1, 2, 3 and 4
• Semi-final will be played on courts 1 and 2 at 15.10
• The final will be played on court 1 at 15.40 and is the winner of the two semi-finals.

Information:

• Tournaments in short and long distance, separated into single and double.
• All pitchers play preliminary rounds of three matches. We expect the matches to be divided into groups of six pitchers/teams and the overall score determines whether a team advances to the finals.
• The tournament schedule and program are finalized after registrations.

Equipment and requirements:

• It is possbile to borrow equipment. 

Registration:

• All participants needs to register in the secretariat on site 
• The secretariat opens at 8.30
• All participants must be ready 10 minutes before their competion starts

Pre-competition meeting:

• All participants will recieve information two weeks before the competion

Rules and regulations:

• Singles: Pitchers take turns tossing 10 times – 2 throws at a time (all in all 20 horseshoes per person).
• Double: Team take turn tossing 10 times – 1 throw per person at a time (a total of 20 throws per team).
• The pitcher/team with the most points after 20 throws is declared the winner.

Scoring

• 1 point: Horseshoe lands within a 1,8-meter diameter circle (including horseshoe landing on the line).
• 2 points: Horseshoe lands on the or touches the inner circle (diameter 0,6 m).
• 3 points: Horseshoe lands inside the inner circle.
• 4 points: Horseshoe touches the spike.
• 5 points: Horseshoe lands around the spike. Only counted if the horseshoe surrounds the spike, not if the outside of the horseshoe touches the spike.
• Throws outside the circles do not score points.
